How to Use Piezoelectric Speaker
This is a component that can produce sound by connecting it to SPACEBLOCK. The red wire is the signal wire, and the black wire is the GND.
Specifications
Drive Method | Piezoelectric Type |
---|---|
Sound Pressure | 70dBA min. [5Vp-p, Square Wave, 10cm, 2500Hz] |
Capacitance | 25000pF +/- 30% |
Maximum Input Voltage | 30Vp-p |
Temperature Range | -20~60℃ |
Size | 41 x 41 (mm) |
Connection
Connect the Piezoelectric Speaker to the SPACEBLOCK microcontroller board as follows:
- Connect the red wire of the piezoelectric speaker to the PWM-compatible pin of SPACEBLOCK
- Connect the black wire of the piezoelectric speaker to the GND pin of SPACEBLOCK
※The image shows the signal line connected to pin A0. PWM-compatible pins are A0, B0, A10, B8.
※GND can also be inserted into the pins with the same notation on the SPACEBLOCK microcontroller board.
Usage
You can produce sound by specifying the musical scale. You can use blocks in the 'Sound' category of the project to produce sound from the piezoelectric speaker.
